Bulk actions
Open or close all scheduled links at once, or tick several schedules and delete them together.
When you have many schedules, doing things one at a time takes a while. The Scheduled Tab List has buttons that act on many schedules together. You can open every scheduled website, close every matching tab, or delete several schedules in one go.
How bulk actions work
Open All Scheduled Link
This runs every schedule that opens a website straight away, as if you clicked Run now on each one. That means schedules set to Open a website or Open, then close. Each schedule's own options still apply, such as a new window, incognito mode or opening in the background. Schedules that are switched off or marked Locked are skipped. If none are left, you see There are no active open schedules.
Close All Scheduled Link
This checks every open tab against your close schedules, meaning Close matching tabs and Open, then close, and closes the tabs that match straight away. It uses the same link rules as a scheduled close, including * patterns and URL Filtering. The protections you chose still apply, so Do not close pinned tabs, Do not close active tab and Close only incognito tabs are respected. Schedules that are switched off are skipped, and there is no 60 second warning.
Delete several schedules
Each row has a checkbox on the left. As soon as you tick one or more, a Delete All Schedule button appears above the list. It deletes the schedules you ticked. Tab Scheduler asks you to confirm how many you are deleting, then shows how many were deleted. The checkbox in the header row (Check All) ticks every schedule shown on the page, which is how you clear the whole list.
How to use bulk actions
- Click the Tab Scheduler icon in your browser toolbar and choose Settings.
- Scroll down to the Scheduled Tab List.
- To open every scheduled website now, click Open All Scheduled Link next to the list title.
- To close every tab that matches a close schedule now, click Close All Scheduled Link.
- To delete schedules, tick the checkbox next to each one you want to remove. To select all schedules on the page, tick the checkbox in the header row.
- Click Delete All Schedule and confirm.
When to use bulk actions
- You start work early today. Click Open All Scheduled Link to open your mail, calendar and team chat schedules at once instead of waiting for each one.
- At the end of a study session, click Close All Scheduled Link to close youtube.com and the other sites your close schedules cover. If those schedules use Do not close pinned tabs, your pinned tabs stay open.
- A project has ended. Search for its website in the list, tick the schedules it finds and delete them together.
Good to know about bulk actions
- Deleting cannot be undone. If you have Premium, export your schedules to a CSV file first if you might need them later.
- With more than 5 schedules the list is split into pages, and the header checkbox only ticks the schedules on the page you see. To select every schedule, set the page size below the list to All first.
- Open All Scheduled Link and Close All Scheduled Link do not change any timing. Each schedule still runs at its usual time.
- Incognito schedules need Allow in Incognito turned on for Tab Scheduler.
- On the Free plan, up to 5 schedules can run. Deleting schedules frees up room, so schedules marked Locked can run again.
Questions and answers
Does Delete All Schedule delete every schedule?
It deletes only the schedules you have ticked. To delete all of them, tick the checkbox in the header row first, with the page size set to All if your list has several pages.
Will Close All Scheduled Link close my pinned tabs?
Not if the matching schedule has Do not close pinned tabs turned on. The same protections as a scheduled close apply.
Does Open All Scheduled Link change when my schedules run next?
No. It only runs them now. Each schedule keeps its normal timing.
Can I get deleted schedules back?
No. Deleting is permanent, so export a backup first if you have Premium.
